Building Bridges through
Interfaith Dialogue in Schools
A Presentation Night to Remember!
This event was a night of inspiration and hope, as students who have been involved in the “Building bridges” programme shared through story, art and song how they have been affected by engaging with those from faiths and cultures other than their own.
“Building Bridges through interfaith dialogue in schools” is an initiative of the WellSpring Centre that brings 200 students together from 23 secondary schools of different faith and cultural backgrounds from around Melbourne to learn about each other and build bridges of trust, understanding and friendship across their differences. This is the sixth year of the programme.
Jason Shulman, a Jewish rap artist, was our guest to perform and share on how faith can make a positive contribution to the world, as well as young adults who have participated as facilitators in the programme.
