4th Català Parliament of Religions
This year's event offered a space and a time to dialogue about the role of women who live in our society. We shared the lived experiences and deep reflections that have allowed us to create opportunities for women's voices of different traditions to be heard in a socially complex and heterogeneous world.
The 4th Català Parliament of Religions sought to become a unifying force among women of the whole world for their families and for their spirituality. The event served as a definitive proclomation of our cultural intention to recover the spiritual and social value of women as the foundation of peace among all humanity.
By ratifying a document entitled "Lleida's Manifest," we also initiated a commitment from members of all religions to improve the situation of women both within their own religious traditions and within society in general.
This event emphasized dialogue, tolerance, understanding and education as the keys for social improvement, as well as the objective to consolidate the process of our personal transfomations into a world transformation by listening and acting to make ourselves better and to make a better world for all of us.
