Peace On Earth: Let It Begin With You and Me!

This event took place in the scenic Shumei Hong Kong headquarters in Sai Kung, New Territories. It aimed to promote interfaith dialogue among the different faith traditions in the city. Echoing the theme “Peace On earth, Let It Begin with You and Me”, participating traditions were invited to express their visions and achievements of and toward world peace. Audiences could also explore more about each tradition by visiting their information booths.

Howard McCrary, a Hong Kong-based Grammy nominee jazz singer, delivered a “Concert for World Peace”. Rev. Teresa Kwok, Chief of Shinji Shumeikai Hong Kong led a group reflection for peace on earth. The Shumei Hong Kong Taiko Apprentice Team performed to spread to the world the sound of peace.

Let’s join our forces to make our place, a land of peace!
