Prof Wande Abimbola

Awise Awo Agbaye
(World Spokesperson for Ifá and Yoruba Religion)

Born to Nigerian tradition bearers, and grounded in the ancient oral tradition, Wande Abimbola is a Babalawo or priest of Ifa, prolific author, and an academic authority on Yoruba religion which has over 70 million followers in Africa and the Americas. His programs at the Parliament will focus on healing the Earth and, as a result, healing the peoples of the Earth, and exploring the Yoruba principle of brotherhood and sisterhood of humans with all creation. We prefer that the religion remains simple and respectful of all, including the animals, vegetation and all the other creatures and objects of nature without which we humans cannot survive on this planet.
