Volunteer with the Council
The Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions based in Chicago, USA is looking for volunteers to further its mission in support of the interreligious movement. We need persons with commitment and skills, and we are eager to tailor your interests and availability to the current work of the Council. From anywhere in the world, you can join our team!
Currently, we are using the skills of many volunteers and have all the help we need for the moment.
However, in mid-2010 we will have several new projects where volunteers will be needed, so please keep checking this web site for new Volunteer opportunities.
For example:
Research - Searching the web to find communities, organizations and institutions that may be interested in working with the Council
Data Entry - Entering contact information into the database for persons and organizations from around the world (Chicago area only).
Other skills we will need in the future are:
- Public Relations
- Fundraising
- Grant Writing
- Event Planning
If you have other interests or skills, the Council wants to know about them and will design a volunteer task especially for you. Please fill out the Online Volunteer Application. After receiving your volunteer application, Volunteer Coordinator Connie Sulkin will contact you.
If you are interested in a student internship with the Council, please complete and return the Intern Application.
