The Parliament of the World’s Religions was created to cultivate harmony among the world's religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions in order to achieve a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
A priority of the Parliament is to develop opportunities for people involved in the global movement to engage in action-oriented issues (justice, peace, and sustainability) and to foster relationships with key constituencies (women, indigenous people, children and youth, and emerging leaders).
The Parliament’s Interfaith Directory aims to serve as a resource for people interested in learning about interfaith programs, organizations, and events. The Directory also serves to promote programs, organizations, and events to people from all over the world.
Any program, organization, or event carrying out ongoing activity that deliberatively includes more than one religious tradition is encouraged to become part of the Parliament’s Interfaith Directory.
