How Recent Relational, Biological Discoveries Are Shifting Modern Culture Toward Greater Respect for Women

Women have long been viewed as incapable of rational thinking and leadership because they tend not to think according to the compartmentalized, mechanistic worldview underlying modernity. However, surprising 21st-century discoveries in human biology refute the mechanistic perception: humans, and all nature, are increasingly understood to be composed of and function by means of dynamical interrelatedness. These discoveries are quickly being applied in mainstream venues, spreading the Relational Shift away from mechanistic thinking toward the gestalt, relational way in which most women tend to perceive reality (according to cross-cultural studies of perception) – and much closer to the deepest teachings of religions.
