Me, The "Other" — A Documentary Film

This film tells stories of differences due to prejudice, ignorance, and discrimination in order to illustrate that “otherness” is never one thing. From three colleges in Washtenaw County, Michigan, come the narratives of students whose lives are shaped by the perceptions of others, and whose spell-binding stories of struggle and triumph reveal the resilience of the human spirit. It includes individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds, including those who are gay, bisexual, transgender, black, white, Asian, Latina, Mexican, Muslim, etc., and who deal with issues such as DACA, the #MeToo movement, social-economic challenges, and racism.
