Room Garden Patch M
Stencil while you learn about moccasins and other First Nations Footwear and the project to stencil images at locations throughout Ontario led by Carolyn King, former elected Chief of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. This project aims to create a visual reminder to recognize and honour that we are on the traditional territory of indigenous peoples. This activity is especially suitable for school-age children and their parents and hopes to engage youth creatively and thoughtfully, while bringing awareness to every step they take.
