Social Change in a World of Chaos: Skills and Resources for Transformation
The panel’s focus is on faith, resilience, and service to the community and their transformative impact on the personal, local, and global ethics. The panel demonstrates concrete ways of applying redefined concepts of power, trust and relationships, for social change and empowerment in lives, communities, civic, academic, and faith institutions. Three distinct approaches of transformation will be introduced: asset-based methodology, faith-based application of social justice, and a case study of peaceful activism. These evidence-based approaches are crucial in bringing forth empowerment for individuals, justice in the community, and ethical transformation in institutions.
