Youth Interfaith Leadership Camp
For the last two summers, Drake University's "The Comparison Project" in partnership with the Des Moines Area Religious Council, has run a Youth Interfaith Leadership Camp. At the camp, high-school aged campers from a spectrum of religious faith traditions create digital stories about personally meaningful faith experiences, practices, and principles. The campers also visit each other places of worship, share their faith traditions with one another, and discuss the principles of interfaith leadership. Drake University students serve as counsellors at the camp, facilitating the story circles in which stories are shared and leading the discussions of interfaith leadership.
