Sacred Space International

Sacred Space International was formed in response to the events of September 11, 2001 in New York City to address the apparent gap in understanding among the religions of the world. Sevral initiatives have since developed: (1) developng a commissioned collection of architecture models that represet the religions of the world including interior views of their sanctuary arrangements; (2) lectures on the Architecture of Faith, referring to a total of 15 world religions traditions in connection with one anotother, (3)on-site visits to religious sites and their congrations, and (4) year-long programs that develop comprehensive and sustainable interreligioous comunity building among diverse congregations in cities and neighborhoods.
