Elizabeth Ursic is Co-Chair of the Women’s Caucus at the American Academy of Religion. She holds a PhD in Religious Studies from Arizona State University, an MDiv from Yale Divinity School, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Her book, Women, Ritual, and Power, was published with SUNY Press in 2014, and her CD, Unspoken Touch, has been heard on over one hundred radio stations. She is a professor of World Religions at Mesa Community College in Phoenix, and she serves on the board of the Arizona Interfaith Movement. She is also a spiritual director at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale. She has facilitated conferences for executive directors of interfaith organizations, and has served on the President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge.
