How Are We Connecting Everyone With Compassion?

In a follow-up to last year's "Survival of the Kindest: How to Win the Compassion Games" webinar, Jon Ramer returns to the Parliament Webinar Series sharing the newest opportunities to join the movement all started by Karen Armstrong's Charter for Compassion.

Viewers will learn a brief history of the Compassion movement - from the Games to the upcoming World Compassion Festival, including how to do Compassion Relays, or champion a Compassionate City campaign The discussion centers on the Golden Rule principles of Compassion and how this works well in starting a movement, especially in the interfaith sphere! Examples of Compassionate Action successes discussed demonstrate how the model of compassion can win over any environment from a town park to a high security prison, or even a city council! And as always, a Q/A with Jon Ramer is included.

Compassion calls for motion. Whether or not that be a physical movement or making a preference, and accepting effects. Compassion is not to be burdened with sympathy or pity or maybe empathy. It's far none of these. It does ought to do with the allowing of others to be as they may be, and the allow of you to be as you are, both on your truths. It's miles the coming together from these truths, running collectively, in recognition of these separate truths.

Sometime before we met Rahbin – a Compassionate extremist and instructor at Reid Secondary School in Long Shoreline, California – she had composed various books on empathy, even one incidentally entitled "Sympathy Amusement, 10 Long stretches of Sympathy, Fast and Simple On-Line Activities to Better Our Reality." It was inevitable that our ways would meet! Furthermore, we are endlessly appreciative of that.
